Peter's near death experience (NDE) while still in college is detailed in his best selling book Heaven Is Beautiful: How Dying Taught Me That Death is Just the Beginning.  Peter holds a master's in divinity from Yale University,  is a former church pastor, and was host of a daily devotional broadcast in Maine for many years.
